Tiger Woods released a statement on his website Friday, admitting to infidelity and saying he was taking time off from his golf career to focus on dealing with his family situation. (Dec. 11)

While British bookmakers take bets on how much his wife will take in their divorce, Tiger Woods has resigned himself to lonely seclusion, according to various reports.

Woods has changed his cellphone number. He spends his days holed up at his Florida mansion inside a gated community, watching television. Under cover of darkness, he goes to a nearby driving range to hit balls, a neighbour told US Magazine.

Meanwhile, the heat surrounding his marriage meltdown continues to rise.

A 13th mistress has surfaced, along with allegations that her 6-year-old daughter could be Woods's child. Theresa Rogers, a 48-year-old Florida woman, has apparently hired celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred – the same attorney who represented the first woman involved in the Woods scandal, hostess Rachel Uchitel.

Rogers gave birth to a daughter in 2003, while she was, she claims, in the midst of an affair with Woods. She was also involved at that time with "an Eastern European basketball player."

The aunt of another woman connected to Woods, Jamie Jungers, told radaronline.com that her niece has nude photos of Woods taken on a cellphone. That might help explain a pre-injunction that Woods's lawyers recently obtained in British court to ban publication of any nude photos or video of the golf star.

Jungers, a Las Vegas cocktail waitress, has already cashed in on her sudden notoriety with a stilted video endorsement of online shopping site, bidhere.com.

In England, bookmaker William Hill is taking wagers on how much Woods's wife, Elin Nordegren, will make in any divorce settlement. From longest to shortest, William Hill is offering 25-to-1 odds that Nordegren will come away with $500 million (U.S.) or more; 6-to-4 that she'll get less than $100 million; and 1-to-2 that she'll reap between $100 and $500 million.LINK
