Shahbaz orders early completion of development projects

RAWALPINDI: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Sunday directed the authorities concerned to utilise all resources for early completion of development schemes in Murree and that maximum development work should be completed before snowfall.

He said a comprehensive plan was being implemented for the beautification of Murree and provision of facilities to tourists.

He was presiding over a meeting of the district administration in Government House, Murree. Pace of work on development projects in Murree was reviewed in the meeting. Rawalpindi commissioner, DCO, NESPAK representatives as well as senior government officers attended the meeting.

The CM directed that officers of different departments and representatives of different institutions maintain a close coordination with each other at every level to ensure that the objectives of development strategy were achieved for the benefit of the people.

He said it should be ensured that modern traffic, parking and other facilities were available to visitors. He said alternate recreational spots should also be developed for attracting maximum number of tourists.Link
